Dr.Denise Enslen Schill has been painting since she retired from teaching. She does
not pretend to be a professional artist. She paints for her own enjoyment and fulfilling a desire she had since she was a child in French schools.

In college she received a minor in Art History and a Ph.D. in French literature. Denise has always been interested in studying works of the world great Masters. Still today one of her interests is to find art related sites over the Internet.

Denise received many ribbons and awards. She recently decided to add another dimension to her watercolor painting by using different material such as yupo, pen and ink, gouache and "papier collĂ©" (glued paper).

This artist has attended a few watercolor workshops, but is mostly self-taught. She has given a couple of workshops on this particular manner to work with collage. Denise hopes to be able to share that great joy of painting with others.

"Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once he grows up."
